to the following projects, among many others: 
Handicapped playground for Easter Seals; house
build projects for Habitat for Humanity; dental
clinic at the Will County Free Clinic; and a
patient room at the Joliet Area Community
Hospice home. Our combined efforts are supplying
MANY community needs!

FREE Training Opportunity

Join us on Saturday, October 26th at 8AM for a morning (yes, you’ll be on your way by lunch) of learning and fun.  After breakfast, we’ll begin with two keynote speakers.  They will talk to Team Building and How Conflict Can Turn Into Creativity and Rediscovering Our Enthusiasm. 

The breakout sessions will cover Our Rotary Foundation, My Rotary, Membership, Public Image and so much more.  There are several classes running at the same time, so bring many members of your team along.

You need go to the District web site: District Fall Training Registration. to register and sign up for the classes that suit your needs.  There is no charge for this event.

 

YOU ARE INVITED:

There is more to come.  The Celebration of Our Rotary Foundation will be held on Thursday, November 14th at Silver Lake Country Club.  Rotary International General Secretary, Mr. John Hewko and his wife Marga, will be our guests for the night.  Come, join us as we celebrate all of our clubs and our members and the contributions they make. The Rotary Foundation Dinner Registration.

 

Membership & Foundation workshop

Before you know it, it will be time to gather for One Rotary Summit.  We’ll return to Moraine Valley Community College for a hands-on workshop on the synergy of Public Image, Membership and Foundation.  Pat Merryweather and her team will stear us through the workshops and provide hands-on learning with actionable take-aways to create more “vibrant clubs”.  Mark your calendar for Saturday, December 7th and register today.  This is another District no-cost event.One Rotary Summit Registration.  

 

Volunteers Requested:
The District teams, task forces and committees continue to seek out
Rotarians to help with the By-laws task force, the Finance Committee,
the Convention Task Force, the Holiday party team, Interact and
Rotaract coordinators and more.  Join your fellow District Rotarians
in fellowship and service.
