Rotary District 6450 Conference & Training Opportunities

APRIL 09

RI District 6450 Spring Training will be held Saturday, April 9th, 8:30 a.m. to Noon at the Hilton Oak Brook Hills Resort. Included are training and information sessions on the following topics: Officer Roles; Public Relations; social Media; Youth Programs; Grants; Club Websites; Membership; Youth Exchange; and RI Foundation. Registration required in advance at www.rotary6450.org. No fee.

Special New Member Orientation to be held at 12:15 immediately following the training. Optional lunch is $15. All new members are encouraged and welcome to attend to learn about the basics of Rotary, locally and internationally.

APRIL 28-MAY 01

Rotarians from across the area will meet in April at the District 6450 Conference. Joliet Rotarians are welcome to attend. The Conference will be held at the newly remodeled Illinois Beach Resort & Conference Center, One Lake Front Dr., Zion, IL 60099. The conference runs from Thursday April 28 to Sunday May 1. Rotarian attendees registration fee is $400; spouse/guest, $250. Special room rate is $109/night plus tax. For reservations call 847-625-7300, ext. 0.
