ROTARIANS, DO YOU KNOW?
In 1961 World Community Service (WCS) was
adopted. This provides for teams of Rotarians
with expertise in education, public health, ag-
riculture, and industry to travelto developing 
countries to share knowledge. This program
did more to bring International Service to local
clubs than anything else. Single clubs or indivi-
dual Rotarians could become actively involved
in serving worldwide. It could be said that
Rotary became an adult Peace Corp.
