CALLING ALL ROTARIANS!!
The Rotary Club of Joliet has made a commitment to support Rotarian Debra Condotti as Easter Seals conducts their annual Celebration of Giving Telethon. The event will be held on Saturday, April 14th at the Jacob Henry Mansion.

The Rotary Club of Joliet will have a VIP Team of 6 that will take pledges.  If you are interested in participating on our phone team please e-mail cmccarthy@tjhs.org immediately.  We will meet at the Mansion at 11:15 for training and be on air from noon to 1 p.m.

We will be collecting money from Rotarians at our April 3rd and April 10th lunch meetings.  We will take cash or checks.  Checks should be made out to Easter Seals. Our goal is to raise over $3000.00.  We have a friendly wager with the Kiwanis Club who believes that they will be able to raise more money than Joliet Rotary.

Your involvement will "Make a Difference" in the lives of individuals with disabilities. Thank you,
President Cheryl

Raffle Funds Available for Local Community Project
Joliet Rotarians are invited to nominate a worthwhile, local community project in need of funds to be the recipient of the club's raffle proceeds.  See history of projects funded here

The following guidelines must be met:
  1. Each project must be sponsored by a member of the Joliet Rotary Club.  If the project is selected, that member, along with a representative of the organization or group, shall monitor the progress and report on the implementation.

  2. The project must be a long term benefit for the Joliet community and will be used for capital expenditures only (bricks/mortar, equipment) not for operation or program support.

  3. The specific project must be clearly identified including the Rotary Club of Joliet recognition plan.

  4. The project will be funded up to $30,000. These funds are available as a result of the Annual Rotary Raffle Fundraising Event. Each year the anticipated dollar amount will be determined by the Board of Directors.

  5. Bids or estimates from professionals for all work and supplies should be  submitted with each application. Get application here.

  6. The Rotary Member sponsoring the project should return the application and supporting documentation to Dan Malinowski.
