Reminder: ShelterBox HERO
Want your Club to become a ShelterBox HERO?  Here’s how you can achieve that —
A ShelterBox HERO is any Rotary Club that has committed to making an impact in worldwide disaster response by giving $1,000, $3,000, or $5,000 to that effort within the Rotary year.

Currently, in Rotary International Zone 29, our District 6450 is ranked #2 of the 16 districts in our Zone.  So far, during this Rotary Year, D6450 has committed $22,360 to worldwide Shelter Box Disaster Relief.
Can your Club help push D6450 into first place in Zone 29?  If so, you must act before June 30th, 2022.  Check out how you can accomplish that here: https://tinyurl.com/2tsbwx5h.

For more info, contact Bill Tobin at (916) 616-6973.

Joint Pollinator Resolution, July 8th
The Joint Pollinator Resolution driven by RI's Operation Pollination will occur on July 8th between Rotary Districts 6450 & 6440 & several National Heritage Areas.

According to RI’s national “Operation Pollination” coordinator, Chris Stein, a joint Pollinator Resolution between Rotary Districts 6450 and 6440, and incorporating three national Heritage Area efforts, including the Illinois & Michigan Canal National Heritage Area, the proposed Bronzeville-Black Metropolis National Heritage Area, and the proposed Calumet National Heritage Area is in the works for a signing on June 20th.  Details are to be announced shortly.
