Update on D6450 Ukrainian Donations
First, thanks for the great response to our request for supplies to support the Ukrainian emergency refugee situation in Poland and elsewhere in Eastern Europe.

Second, to make our D6450 collection effort more efficient, please follow this guidance from Governor Jane:

As mentioned in our March 15th D6450 Headline News, Shelter Box USA currently has a team on the ground in Poland and is cooperating with RI in providing assistance to the millions of Ukrainian refugees in that country.  District 6450 Rotarians who wish to support Shelter Box USA’s mission in Poland and other Eastern European nations affected by the war can do so at www.shelterbox.org.

Scouting for Food, a cooperative effort between the Food Bank of Greater Chicago, the NW Indiana Food Bank, Boy Scouts of America, and D6450 Rotary, is requesting that Members bring quantities of the following foods on April 9th:

Important Global Grants Management Seminar to be held on Saturday, April 9th
For all D6450 Rotarians involved with Global Grants, a seminar on Global Grant training will be held via Zoom to discuss the many aspects of that important program. D6450 Annual Conference, April 30th
REMINDER: On Saturday, April 30th, 10:00 am - 7:30 pm, the 2022 Annual D6450 Conference will take place at the Katherine Legge Memorial Park and Lodge in Hinsdale. Cost per person is $50 and includes lunch and dinner. A Day of Service, Education, Fellowship and Fun will unfold. Registration is required.
 
 
Special request to add to the conference fun! We are in search of outdoor games, such as croquet or badminton, to add to our district conference events. If you have these or other items that would be fun for Rotarians to play and socialize with, please reach out to Amy Hopkins at amyehopkins@gmail.com.
