The Rotary Club of Naperville is leading a collaboration with Comp-U-Dopt to collect used computers to be refurbished and distributed to families in the Chicago area that don’t have computers in their homes.
Naperville Rotary invites all District 6450 clubs to join in this collaboration.  We are working with Comp-U-Dopt to collect used computers and any type of computer equipment, except for printers.

D6450 Volunteer Opportunity: June 18th, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
District 6450 will engage in a “bed building” project with the Sleep in Heavenly Peace organization on June 18th.  No experience is needed for you to help out with the construction of beds.  These beds are designed for 3-17 year olds who may be victims of fire, flooding, domestic abuse, or financial struggles.

“Bedlessness” is not a real word; but it is a real problem.

Reminder: ShelterBox HERO
Want your Club to become a ShelterBox HERO?  Here’s how you can achieve that—
A ShelterBox HERO is any Rotary Club that has committed to making an impact in worldwide disaster response by giving $1,000, $3,000, or $5,000 to that effort within the Rotary year.

Currently, in Rotary International Zone 29, our District 6450 is ranked #2 of the 16 districts in our Zone.  So far, during this Rotary Year, D6450 has committed $22,360 to worldwide Shelter Box Disaster Relief.
Can your Club help push D6450 into first place in Zone 29?  If so, you must act before June 30th, 2022.  Check out how you can accomplish that here: https://tinyurl.com/2tsbwx5h.

For more info, contact Bill Tobin at (916) 616-6973.
