Applications being accepted for annual
Joliet Rotary Scholarships
Six scholarships to be awarded to
students of Joliet high schools
 
JOLIET – The Rotary Club of Joliet
is seeking applications from
students in the Joliet school
district for six $1,000 scholarships. 
 
Any student wishing to apply for these
scholarships should request an
application from their school counselor
beginning February 22, 2019. The deadline
for submission is Friday March 22, 2019. 
 
Completed scholarship applications
may be delivered in person to the
regular Rotary Club meeting,
12:15 pm on Tuesdays at the
Holiday Inn and Suites
Joliet-Rock Run Convention Center,
1471 Rock Creek Boulevard,
Joliet, Illinois 60431
 
or they can be mailed to:

Sergeant At Arms Report
Sergeant At Arms (SAA) in the Rotary Club
of Joliet is the chief enforcement officer of
Club rules and customs. Members are
encouraged to:  attend meetings; wear
Rotary pin; participate in Club and
community projects; and share in fellowship.
 
Weekly SAA duties include checking member
attendance, and raising funds for the Charitable
Grants committee through happy dollars and fines
for:  member public accomplishments; member
newsmakers; other methods.

2018-2019 Club Grants for Membership Development

The District Board has grants to support membership development. Clubs may complete a form for a new member promotion, event, etc. and request up to $250 as a match for the cost of the activity.   Multiple Club events may request up to $500.  Steps:  1) complete the top half of this form and submit to office@rotary6450.net. Upon submission of the request you will be informed of your grant status. 2) then hold your event. 3) complete a report of your event, bottom half of form by June 1, 2019 and submit to office@roary6450.net
Grants will remain available until all available funds have been designated.
