Past President Michael Murray reminds Joliet Rotarians that it's the time of year for selecting our 2011 Raffle project.  This year we will be giving away $10,000 for a worthy project; as well as awarding six $1,000 scholarships in the spring, and setting aside $10,000 to go toward our Centennial project.

Applications for possible projects to be funded will be accepted over the next few weeks. The following guidelines must be met:
  1. Each project must be sponsored by a member of the Joliet Rotary Club.  If the project is selected, the member shall monitor and report on the    implementation of the project along with a representative of the organization or group.

  2. The project must be a long term benefit for the Joliet Community and will be used for capital expenditures only (bricks/mortar, equipment) not for operation or program support.

  3. The specific project must be identified with recognition given to the Rotary Club of Joliet

  4. The project will be funded up to $10,000.  These funds are available as a result of the Annual Rotary Raffle Fundraising Event.  Each year the anticipated dollar amount will be determined by the Board of Directors.

  5. Bids or estimates from professionals for all work and supplies should be submitted with each application.

  6. The Rotary Member sponsoring the project should return the application and supporting documentation to Past President Michael Murray, or current President Dan Mihelich by Tuesday, November 22nd.
