Rotary District News

*December is Disease Prevention and Treatment Month.  Keep this in mind if you are thinking of your year-end donation.  The Polio Plus Fund would be a good place to start.  I know that we continually hear about this, but there are still cases popping up and we really want to win this battle.  As I have mentioned before, our district, along with districts 6440 and 6420 purchased an iron lung with a trailer and lots of information and graphics.  This will be made available to any Rotary club for their function for the cost of 100.00 for the day.  This is a great way to tell the Rotary story about our Polio immunization efforts.

Speaking on donations, remember, we now have a new Charitable Foundation for the district.  Contact the office if you want more information on this.  This may be a useful tool for your next fundraising event.  Charitable Foundation - Click for More Information.

  • Polio - Iron Lung: the district is a sponsor for an Iron Lung, purchased by District 6440.  It will be available for outdoor "Rotary Days" and events.  Click here to read about.
  • Leadership Forum opening soon - post ideas, questions:Forums
Yours in Rotary Service,
Scott McAdam
District Governor 2017-2018
